Antonino Cannavacciuolo, Grand Chef Relais & Chateaux

From South to North of Italy, a fusion of flavours and pleasure. Let us introduce you Antonino Cannavacciuolo, chef patron of Villa Crespi, a two-Michelin star Restaurant mentioned in the most important culinary guides, considered to be one of the most illustrious Italian Chefs and from this year Grand Chef Relais & Chateaux.

A determined man with a strong character made up of cheerfulness, passion and instinct. He is an artist: he plays proficiently with his homeland’s products combining them with Piedmont’s products: his love’s land, his wife’s home. His name is Antonino Cannavacciuolo, Grand Chef Relais & Chateaux, and he works in Villa Crespi on Lake Orta.

No limits, no scruples, he dares, he changes, he experiences and in the meantime he gains a lot of approvals and support and thousands of smiles from his guests: the most important gift.

The most important thing for him is his guests to understand the message hidden behind his creations.

How he presents his recipes is his personal way to convey his feelings, his work and what’s inside his heart. He is able to involve his “audience” through a combinations of colours, shades and flavours.

Staunch supporter of culinary traditions and of the simpleness of tastes, his way of cooking is never ordinary but always surprising.

He promotes fusion of past and present for an innovative Mediterranean cuisine.

Firmly rooted in his origins, he never forgot the hard life in the kitchen and the efforts to grow, to become “someone”. He never stopped learning, in 2000 he attended two special internships in two of the most important Resturants in France.

His personal features are a strong resolution, the perseverance, the willness to surprise both himself and others.

The kitchen is a game, it is personal growth and Antonino resembles his beloved Mediterranean sea.. never stops, always moves..
